Old Man and the Seasoned Stack
Back in 1974, when Jesse started the business, it was named Ozark Energy. Now, going by Smith Street Farms, he's maintained clients from more than 40 years and remembers nearly everyone by name. Over the years, Jesse has helped raised 5 kids, earned a Master's Degree in History, and taught both high school and college levels courses, all while continuing to serve the good people of St. Louis with their firewood and mulch needs.

Smith Street Farms harvests as much wood as possible from timber stand improvement. This means our wood comes from trees that have been cut down in order to improve the forest instead of degrading it.
